皆さん、こんにちは。EXILE ATSUSHIです。
いつもEXILE、EXILE ATSUSHIを温かく応援してくださり、本当にありがとうございます。
このたび、ファンの皆さんにお伝えしなければならない大切なことがあり、このように手紙を書かせていただきました。
ぜひ、目を通してくださいましたら嬉しく思います。
今年はEXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEARと題し、一年をとおして、EXILE TRIBEがさまざまなエンタテインメントを発信していく年になります。
そして、今年の集大成的なツアーであるドームツアー、EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR “TOWER OF WISH 2014”が、秋からスタートすることは皆さんもご存知のとおりだと思います。
実は、今回このツアーに、僕は出演しないという判断をさせていただきました。
このように一方的にお伝えする形になってしまい、心待ちにしてくださっていた皆さん、応援してくださっている皆さんには、本当に心苦しい気持ちでいっぱいです。
本当に申し訳ありません。
皆さんにきちんとご理解いただくためにも、僕の言葉で、しっかりと経緯を説明させていただけたらと思います。
今年は新生EXILEが誕生し、EXILEが第四章へと突入するEXILEにとって新たな未来への挑戦に向けた、大切な年になります。
昨年は、HIROさんがパフォーマー人生に一区切り打たれた年であり、僕はすべてを懸けて、EXILE PRIDEツアーに臨みました。
そして、HIROさん最後のツアーを無事に終わらせることができたことで、自分自身のなかでも完全燃焼し、ひとつの集大成を迎えたことを感じました。
振り返ってみると、EXILE第一章が始まった2001年からこれまでの約13年間、EXILEの音楽を生活の中心に置きながら、EXILEとしてはツアーを12回開催し、アルバム15枚、シングルを45枚リリースしてきました。
作詞・作曲を手がけた曲もたくさんありますし、ポリープを患って静養した約半年間を除いては、EXILEを引っ張っていかなければと、自分が持っている力のすべてを注ぎ込み、ほぼ休むことなく、精一杯走り続けてきたつもりです。
そして今回、EXILEが第四章を迎え新たに歩んで行くうえで、これまで以上にEXILEを輝かせ、EXILE TRIBE全体を進化させていくために、一度、EXILE、EXILE TRIBEを客観的に見てみたいという想いがわきました。
いままでEXILEのボーカルとして先頭に立って走り続けてきた反面、EXILEというものを客観的に見る機会はありませんでした。
ステージの上から見る景色とは違い、ファンの皆さんと同じ目線で見ることで、いままで見えなかったもの、気づかなかったこと、新たなEXILEの可能性を発見することができるのではないか・・・
こんなことが試せる機会も、EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEARというお祭りの年であり、「あらゆる可能性に向けて挑戦する年」だからこそできるのではないかと、身勝手かもしれませんがとても前向きに考えています。
また、今年はEXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR 2014ということで、EXILE単独のツアーではなく、EXILE TRIBEとしてのツアーだからこそ、頑張っているEXILE TRIBEの後輩たちが経験を積み、成長するチャンスの場であるとも思います。
あえて僕が出演しないことで、それぞれが個性を発揮して思いっきり輝けるのではという想いもあり、今回は若手中心にファンの皆さんに楽しんでいただけたらと提案させてもらいました。
ここでの経験は、必ずEXILE、EXILE TRIBEの未来へつながっていくはずですし、メンバー全員がいままでにない経験を積んでさらにパワーアップしていかなければEXILE、EXILE TRIBEの未来もないとも感じています。
2015年にはEXILEの単独ツアーがありますが、そこに臨むためにも、一度、後輩たちが育っていく大きな渦の中から外に出て、冷静に、客観的な立場からEXILEやEXILE TRIBEの現状を理解したいと思います。
改めて、客観的な立場から見ることで、僕自身がどう感じるのか・・・・・・それを知りたいと思いましたし、僕が感じたことをEXILEに持ち帰り、2015年のEXILE単独のツアーにEXILE ATSUSHIとして万全の状態で戻りたいと決心しました。
このような想いから今回の判断に至りました。
EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR “TOWER OF WISH 2014”には出演はしませんが、心はつねにEXILE、EXILE TRIBEとともにあります。
もしかしたら、さまざまな憶測や誤解が生まれるかもしれませんが、決してEXILEを辞めるということではなく、もちろん、何か問題があるということでもありません。
2015年のEXILE単独のツアー、EXILE LIVE TOUR 2015 ”AMAZING WORLD”では必ず、新生EXILEとともに、さらに成長したEXILE ATSUSHIとしてパフォーマンスすることを、皆さんに約束したいと思います。
あくまで出演しないのは、前述の理由から今年のEXILE TRIBEツアーだけであり、新生EXILEの作品、テレビ番組や雑誌、ラジオ等、新生EXILEとしてはもちろん活動していきますので、ご心配なさらないでください。
どうか、このような僕の勝手な判断にご理解いただき、温かく見守ってくださったらうれしいです。

Hello, everyone. This is EXILE ATSUSHI.
Thanks a lot for your enthusiastic support to
EXILE and EXILE ATSUSHI.
This time, I have an important announcement to make.
So I wrote this letter.
Hope you would take some time to read it.
This year, under the theme of EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR,
we EXILE TRIBE will present all kinds of entertainments
throughout the year.
And as you know, this year's grand tour, the Dome Tour,
EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR "TOWER OF WISH 2014",
will start from this autumn.
In fact, I've decided that I will not perform in this tour.
I feel very sad
to inform you of this news,
because you are full of expectation and always support me so warmly.
I am very sorry about it.
I hope you could understand my reason behind this,
and I will explain it in my own words.
This year, the new EXILE will be born and EXILE is about to enter chapter 4.
For EXILE, it is an important year to challenge the brand new future.
Last year is the dividing line in HIRO's life as a performer.
I did my best in the EXILE PRIDE tour.
And thanks to HIRO's efforts, the last performance was a great success.
I felt that passion was burning within HIRO and he had created his own grand stage.
Looking back on the 13 years from 2001, EXILE chapter 1, till now,
I put EXILE's music as the center of my life and participated in 12 tours as EXILE.
I have released 15 albums and 45 singles.
Many of them are written by me myself, both the tune and lyric.
Except the half year when I had to rest because of the polyp,
I devoted myself to EXILE with the rest of my time. I think I must lead EXILE.
I barely had any rest and I did try my very best.
This time, EXILE will embrace its chapter 4 and step into a new era.
To make EXILE become more splendid and attractive than before, to let EXILE TRIBE make progress as a whole,
for one time, I want to watch the performance of EXILE and EXILE TRIBE from an objective point of view.
Until now, I am the lead singer of EXILE who always stands ahead of others.
So I don't have the opportunity to see EXILE from an objective point of view.
By watching the performance from our fans' point of view, it will be different from the scene that I see on the stage.
Maybe I can find something that I have never noticed before.
Even EXILE's new potential.....
Thanks to EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR,
"the year of facing constant challenges and possibilities", I get this opportunity.
Maybe the decision seems to be capricious, but I am thinking about it seriously.
Besides, because this year is EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR 2014,
which means the tour is not a tour of EXILE but a tour of EXILE TRIBE.
That way, EXILE TRIBE juniors, who are working really hard, could have the chance to gain more experience
and make further progress.
Only if I don't appear in the tour, can they show their talents and enjoy the tour.
So I suggested that the tour this time should focus on the juniors,
and let our fans enjoy the show to the fullest.
The experience accumulated this time will be used to construct the future of EXILE and EXILE TRIBE for sure.
I think when all EXILE TRIBE members accumulate unprecedented experience and make progress together,
EXILE and EXILE TRIBE will have a bright future.
To prepare for the independent tour of EXILE in 2015,
I want to pull myself away from the tour that will cultivate the juniors,
and look at the present condition of EXILE and EXILE TRIBE calmly and objectively.
I want to know the feeling
of looking at EXILE and EXILE TRIBE objectively...
I will bring my feeling back to EXILE,
and I will come back as EXILE ATSUSHI in the best state
in the independent tour of EXILE in 2015.
Based on the consideration above, I made this decision.
Although I will not perform in EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR "TOWER OF WISH 2014",
my heart is closely connected with EXILE and EXILE TRIBE.
Maybe there will be misunderstanding and conjecture,
but I declare I will not leave EXILE.
There's no problem between EXILE and me.
I want to meet you in the independent tour of EXILE in 2015,
EXILE LIVE TOUR 2015 "AMAZING WORLD".
At that time, I will perform as the newborn EXILE,
and EXILE ATSUSHI who has made improvements.
To sum up, I just will not appear in the EXILE TRIBE tour this year.
But as for works of the newborn EXILE, TV programs, magazines, radio programs and other activities,
I will still take part as the newborn EXILE. So please don't worry.
I hope you can understand my capricious decision
and go on paying attention to me and supporting me.
I will work hard.....
to present the entertainment full of dream and love.....

【De Atsushi para los fieles seguidores de EXILE y EXILE ATSUSHI】
Hola a todos. Soy EXILE ATSUSHI.
Gracias a todos por su entusiasta apoyo para EXILE y EXILE ATSUSHI.
En esta ocasión tengo un importante anuncio que hacer. Es por esa razón que les escribo esta carta.
Espero que puedan tomarse algunos minutos para leerla.
Este año, bajo el tema EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR (Año perfecto de EXILE TRIBE) todos los miembros de EXILE TRIBE presentaremos todo tipo de shows a través del año.
Y como ustedes saben, este gran tour a través de los distintos domos (EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR "TOWER OF WISH 2014"), comenzará en otoño.
Pero he decidido que no participaré de este tour.
Me entristece tener que entregarles esta noticia, porque ustedes siempre me dan su cálido apoyo lleno de expectativas.
Es por eso que lo lamento mucho.
Espero que puedan entender la razón detrás de mi decisión, la cual explicaré con mis propias palabras.
Este año nace un nuevo EXILE y está a punto de entrar a su cuarto capítulo.
Para EXILE este es un año importante para enfrentar un nuevo futuro.
El año pasado puso una línea divisoria en la vida de HIRO como parte de EXILE.
Di lo mejor de mí en el tour EXILE PRIDE, y gracias a los esfuerzos de HIRO, la última presentación tuvo un gran éxito.
Sentí que la pasión ardía en el interior de HIRO y el creó su propio y gran escenario.
Haciendo un recuento de los trece años de EXILE, desde el 2001 en su primer capítulo hasta ahora, puse la música de EXILE como el centro de mi vida y participé en 12 tours como parte EXILE.
He sido parte del lanzamiento de 15 álbumes y 45 singles.
Yo mismo escribí muchas de esas canciones, no sólo la letra sino también las melodías.
Exceptuando esos seis meses en que tuve que descansar debido al pólipo que me aquejó,
me dediqué a EXILE todo el tiempo que me restaba. Creo que debo liderar EXILE.
Apenas tenía tiempo para descansar e hice mi mejor esfuerzo.
En esta ocasión, EXILE recibe este cuarto capítulo y da el paso hacia una nueva era.
Para hacer que EXILE llegue a ser aún más esplendido y atractivo que antes, para dejar que EXILE TRIBE progrese como un todo, es que en este momento quiero observar el desempeño de EXILE y EXILE TRIBE desde un punto de vista objetivo.
Hasta ahora, he sido el vocalista principal de EXILE, la persona que siempre se mantiene al frente de los demás.
Es por eso que no tengo la oportunidad de ver a EXILE desde un punto de vista objetivo. Si observo la actuación desde el punto de vista de nuestros fans, será diferente al panorama que veo sobre el escenario.
Tal vez pueda encontrar algo que jamás he visto antes.
Incluso un nuevo potencial dentro de EXILE…
Gracias a EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR, “el año para enfrentar los constantes desafíos y posibilidades”, es que puedo obtener esta oportunidad.
Tal vez mi decisión parezca caprichosa, pero esto es algo pensado con seriedad.
Además de eso este es EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR 2014, lo que significa que este no es un tour de EXILE sino que de EXILE TRIBE. De esa manera los miembros más jóvenes de EXILE TRIBE, quiénes están trabajando realmente duro, podrán tener la oportunidad de ganar más experiencia y hacer un progreso mayor.
Sólo si yo no participo de este tour, ellos podrán mostrar sus talentos y disfrutar del tour.
Es por ello que sugiero que esta vez el tour este enfocado en los menores, y dejar que nuestros fans disfruten el show al máximo.
Este cúmulo de experiencias de seguro será usado para construir el futuro de EXILE y EXILE TRIBE.
Creo que cuando todos los miembros de EXILE TRIBE posean esta experiencia sin precedentes y puedan progresar juntos, EXILE y EXILE TRIBE tendrán un futuro brillante.
Quiero distanciarme de este tour que cultivará los talentos de los menores, para prepararme para el tour independiente de EXILE en el 2015, y observar la condición actual de EXILE y EXILE TRIBE con calma y objetividad.
Quiero saber que se siente lo que es mirar a EXILE y EXILE TRIBE objetivamente...
Haré saber mi sentir a EXILE, y volveré como EXILE ATSUSHI en su mejor forma en el tour independiente de EXILE en el año 2015.
Tomé mi decisión basado en lo que acabo de decir.
Aunque no participaré en EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR "TOWER OF WISH 2014", mi corazón está siempre fuertemente conectado con EXILE y EXILE TRIBE.
Es probable que existan malos entendidos y conjeturas, pero dejo en claro que no dejaré EXILE.
No existe ningún problema entre EXILE y yo.
Quiero encontrarme con ustedes en el tour independiente de EXILE en el año 2015,
EXILE LIVE TOUR 2015 “AMAZING WORLD”. En esa ocasión, participaré en este renacido EXILE, como un EXILE ATSUSHI mejorado.
En resumen, no haré mi aparición en el tour de EXILE TRIBE este año.
Pero aun así tomaré parte en este nuevo EXILE con lo que respecta a programas de TV, revistas, programas de radio y otras actividades. Así es que por favor no se preocupen por ese punto.
Espero que puedan entender mi caprichosa decisión y sigan dándome su atención y apoyo,
Trabajaré duro...
Para regalarles entretenimiento lleno de sueños y amor...
